Stop Kony

Today I watched this 30 minute film.
I know....30 minutes you say? Well, I decided to educate myself and bucky up.
I had no idea who Kony was. Until today. And that is the whole point.
My friend Shellie has family that has adopted Lost Boys. I have always heard the stories of when they came to this country and how they had to adapt.
And I vaguely knew the basics of their story. Walk 25 miles and move into the city at night to avoid being killed. Then walk back again. Sometimes, to no villages.
But I had no idea the extent.
Being educated is the best defense we will ever have.
I really admire this filmaker. His tenacity. His drive. His passion.
Because of Invisible Children, the word is getting out there. To make Kony famous.
Just not in a good way.
Let the people know who he is and what he has done and continues to do.
It is our duty as human beings.
If we don't know, we can't help.
Spread the word, will you?
